At Empowered Fathers in Action (EFA), our leadership is made up of purpose-driven visionaries who believe that real change starts within—and ripples outward through families, schools, communities, and the world. Each member of our team brings a unique blend of life experience, professional insight, and heart-centered leadership to guide our mission of transforming generational patterns into purpose-led legacies.
Christopher Salem is a transformational leadership expert, best-selling author, and keynote speaker who helps individuals and organizations achieve sustainable success by identifying and removing root causes of limiting beliefs. Drawing from decades of experience in business and personal development, and his own journey through adversity, Chris co-founded EFA to equip fathers with the tools to lead consciously and break generational cycles. He leads with a vision of intergenerational healing, emotional intelligence, and authentic communication.
Davey Williams is a human process specialist, professional speaker and inspirational guide who designs the structures behind EFA’s transformative programs. With a background in leadership, entrepreneurship, and personal reinvention, Davey brings a unique clarity to the often messy path of growth. Known for his no-nonsense approach wrapped in deep empathy, he helps men reconnect with their inner compass, navigate emotional landscapes, and lead by example in their homes, corporations, and communities.
Every movement begins with a need. For us, it began with a conversation between two men, Chris and Davey, who recognized a gap that too many families and communities were experiencing.
We saw how many men were struggling silently. Husbands, fathers, and leaders who wanted to do right by their families and communities but lacked the tools, guidance, and support to align their lives with their values. Men were leading with pressure, but not always with purpose. They were striving for success but often sacrificing connection. And in that disconnect, families, communities, and workplaces suffered.
Chris brought a heart for empowering fathers, born from years of seeing the struggles men face when trying to live up to expectations without a roadmap. Davey brought his vision for the human process, helping people simplify the noise, amplify their impact, and live with intention. Different paths, but the same calling: to equip men to lead with both strength and heart.
Together, we founded The EFA Movement (“Empowered Fathers in Action”) as a mission, a real movement, to reimagine how men show up as husbands, fathers, leaders, and role models. Our belief is simple but powerful: when men live aligned with their values, their families thrive, their businesses flourish, and their communities grow stronger.
The EFA Movement is not about lectures or quick fixes. It’s about the process. We teach men to embrace clarity, consistency, and compassion as guiding principles. We give them tools to align their personal lives with their professional roles, so they don’t feel like two different people in two different worlds. We show them how to lead with integrity at home, at work, and everywhere in between.
What started as a vision for stronger fathers has grown into a movement touching homes, communities, organizations, and businesses. From mentoring men one-on-one, to speaking on global stages, to building programs that equip male role models for the next generation, and the ripple effect is undeniable.
The truth is, men don’t need to be perfect. They need to be present. They don’t need to have all the answers. They need to lead with both strength and heart. And when they do, everyone around them benefits.
That’s the story of EFA. Two men, one calling, and a shared belief: When we empower men to align with their values, we create a stronger future for families, communities, corporations and the world.
